Description
Castrol IlocutTM EDM 301 is a low viscosity isoparaffin solvent based high performance electric discharge machining
(EDM) fluid, with very low odor and a narrow distillation range for optimum rates of metal removal, together with low
electrode wear, good surface finish and fine tolerances.
It is especially formulated to provide exceptional performance in all spark-erosion applications.
Application
Ilocut EDM 310 is recommended for use on all ferrous and non ferrous metals. It is can be used in electric discharge
machines of all sizes and is equally suitable for roughing as well as finishing operations.
Conditions of Use
Low viscosity ensures good cooling and flushing action in narrow spark gaps
Very low odour and light colour result in greater operator acceptability
Very low aromatics result in a safe and pleasant work environment
Excellent filterability and high oxidation stability ensures long service life
