Heavy-duty grease with white solid lubricants
DeSCRJPTion
gleitmo 585 M is a high-grade lithium-soap grease based on mineral oil. It contains a synergetic combination of white solid lubricants which cushion shock loads and reduce wear.
gleitmo 585 M helps to prevent fretting corrosion and permits long lubrication intervals.
Fields of application
gleitmo 585 M can be used for bearings and lubrication points of all types subject to particularly stringent requirements. Lubrication points subject to risk of fretting corrosion - oscillatory movements and vibration.
Owing to the white coloration, gleitmo 585 M is also used in applications involving clean conditions, e.g. in food and beverage industries, in textile and paper processing as well as bottling and packaging machines.
Method of application
Roller bearings: fill up the free space in bearing and in housing to approximately 30 to 50 % with grease since the temperature increases enormously with a large quantity of grease and at high rotational speeds. On bearings which only rotate very slowly but need to be well protected against corrosion, the housing can be filled entirely with grease.
gleitmo 585 M can be pumped with automatic lubrication applicators.
Do not mix with greases on a different soap base. Please consult us in case of doubt!
