　【得理饶人更有理，得理不饶显无理】

　　常言道：得饶人处且饶人。意即自己虽然有理，别人做得的确不对与理亏，但是，只要别人真心地认识到了自己的错误，承认自己的错误，且保证改过，我们就要给以宽容。这样，一是显得自己大度：能容忍别人对自己的冒犯、容忍他人犯错误。二是显得通情达理：人非圣贤，孰能无过；犯了错误，若认识到错误、有悔过之心就应该给予宽容谅解，给人以改正的机会。所以在自己有理的情况下，能宽恕知错之人，就会显得自己更有涵养、更知情理。反之则显得无肚量、无涵养，不通情达理，从而显得好似无理。

　　【宽容是**地批评与责备】

　　我的孩提时代是在六十年代，那时，一个饭碗在贫困的家里就是很值钱的东西了。若不小心打了饭碗，一般是要被打屁股的。所以，打了碗的孩子，心里害怕、身体哆嗦。这种情况下，聪明的父母，是不会打孩子的，而是说道：不要紧的，以后注意点。因为孩子又不是故意的，已经知道犯了大错而决心以后千万小心了。你若宽容原谅了他，他由于尊重你感激你就会更加注意不犯错。此时做家长的若不理智地打骂孩子，不但不起一点作用，还伤了孩子的自尊心，甚至可能由于孩子的逆反心里而故意犯错。这个简单的例子可以告诉我们，一般情况下，对于不是故意犯错，或深刻认识到自己所犯错误的严重性而决心改正的人，宽容比批评责备要好得多。关于宽容胜于责备的例子有很多，此处就不多言了。

　　【要承认人与人的差异，不要苛求别人】

　　由于先天素质的不同，由于后天经历的不同，由于成长环境的不同，由于受教育程度的不同，以及其它许多原因，就会必然地形成一个人所特有的性格、气质、能力、理想、兴趣、爱好等个性。这就要求我们在与人相处时，不要过于认真和苛求，要有弹性的态度，要有存异的胸怀，不要以自己的思想去臆断人，不要以自己的好恶去要求人，不要以自己的意志去强加人。不同的国家、民族也应这样：只有承认差异，尊重差异、求同存异，才能和谐相处。
